Hello everyone! Unfortunately I’m not going to be able to update for the next couple of days, but I hope to post my story and the rest of the dresses early next month. In the meantime, I hope you have a lovely Halloween :) Also, Sami, one of my frequent commenters, wrote a short story based on the wedding dress I posted the other day: The Wedding Dress. Check it out!
Great story Sami!
That was terrific, Sami! And I love the name Mara; is there a reason that you chose it?
Yay people like my story XD Celestina, there was no real reason I picked that name. It was originally Lhea, a character I’d already come up with, but the story didn’t fit her. Though now that I think about it, I tihnk Mara means “depressed” or something similar in Hebrew. Odd coincidence or my subconscious kicking in or something lol.
I love the story. It was….haunting somehow and I love how the dress comes back at the end
Bitter, Mara means bitter. Still fits.
Liana, I’m working on a book of short stories that will hopefully get published and I wanted to ask if you mind if I include The Wedding Dress. I figure there’s no copyright infringement in including it, but thought I should ask anyway since it is based on your dress.
Mara means daughter of sin… so that really fits.
Wonderful story! I will diffidently buy your book!
I did it! I got bat girl up for you!
That was a great story Sami!
I would definately be interested to read your other works =)
Yeah, if you got a book of short stories published, I would definitely like to read it!
Ahh I’m so happy people like my story ^^ Thanks so much for posting the link, Liana. Maybe when my book eventually gets published (it’ll be through Lulu.com unless I make some good connections in college) Liana will let me do a little shameless self advertising and post a comment or something to let people know :P
sorry to pester you, but are you still going to make the rest of the masquerade gowns? Just out of curiosity, I’m not trying to be rude or anything. Nice story Sami!
I enjoyed your story so much Sami! You have a great writing talent-“fit” the dress just right
That was a really great story!!
hugs to liana, I truly hope that you feel better soon hon!
I just want to say a big, huge, thank you for your beautiful dolls and dresses, me and my daughter had so much fun with them today.
Loved the story Sami, reminded me of the “corpse bride”. Liane: Could you please set your older stuff in pdf’s so that I can download them to size, please?
…
I was about to ask the same thing! :)
