Two Fairy Dresses from Liana’s Paper Doll Boutique

On the good side, I got a new pencil sharpener; its box promises an “extra heavy duty motor” and indicates that it is designed for “continuous” use. Which is good, because I subject my poor sharpeners to some sad conditions… Anyways, today I got started too late and wasn’t feeling inspired at all, so here are two fairy dresses from the old Boutique.

The poll continues:

January Birthday Dress with Garnets and White Carnations from Liana’s Paper Doll Boutique

This is one of the “birthday dresses” I did for the Boutique that I referred to earlier — even if it’s ten years old I like this one better than the one I did this year. Well, maybe I’ll just try again next January.

So, I have a lovely design for the dress I intended to do today, and then my pencil sharpener died. Poor thing, I probably did put it through its paces… Come back tomorrow for something pretty!

Two New Year’s Dresses from Liana’s Paperdoll Boutique

These are two dresses from the old Boutique holiday section. Since they’re so old, I can’t say for sure but I’m pretty sure they were intended for New Year’s parties, and although it is a little too late I thought I’d put them up. Not that I did much partying, but I did stay up until midnight at least, and made black-eyed pea curry with collard greens.

I think the poll is quite interesting so far, take it if you haven’t…

Two More Greek Dresses from Liana’s Paper Doll Boutique

Today is our travel day, and the last day of Boutique posts, I should think. (Tomorrow is a repeat, too, but not from the Boutique…) So here I finish out the Greek section from the Historical category from the Boutique.

I’ve enjoyed my vacation very much, but I’m looking forwards to getting back to drawing every day again! I’ve got some holiday plans…

The poll ends tomorrow, so take it soon!
