  1. I just found you today, Dec. 30, 2009. Oh, I do so hope you will begin to post nearly every day as a New Year’s resolution; or, have I jinx you already?
I have read some of your older blogs and love the entire concept of blending your love of fashion represented by paper dolls with your life. Really draws the emotional bodies in.

  2. I heard about you from Tricia Rennea’s blog. I love 12 days of Christmas and am excited to see what other designs you post. I saw the first two days so I am hoping that I didn’t miss your collection! You have fans!

  3. I second the hypothetical Marie Antoinette endorsement, though I suspect she would want a tree and all the birds in her hair (or on a hat) – high forehead and all demands huge hair.

If you’re stuck, is probably best just abandon it and do something different, enthused as I am. It’s promise of the Lords-a-leaping that intrigued me, but anyway….

    Encouragement!

  4. Ah,Liana, you ran out of steam! Nevermind. Run us up some gorgeous winter or spring gowns and we’ll forgive you.

  5. hi all! Liana is visiting me (her mom)-lucky me but I am keeping her from paperdolls. Be patient-she’ll be home soon.

  6. I am so looking foreward to your return to the site and I have to say I am DYING to see the rest of the 12 days, but considerably more so, to see the rest of the 12 dancing sisters’ dresses. I am printing these for my daughter to give to her when she is old enough and I hope that before that time comes (she is 9 months so it will be quite a while lol) I will have the complete set for her. I loved how you helped us get to know the sisters and based the dresses on a favorite color and flower. Really cool. I just came across you site today and you are really quite amazing. I also love the dresses that us non-artistic folks can color. I can’t draw but I do love to color. Keep it up. You have so much talent to share.

  7. Liana, I’m sorry that you haven’t posted lately. I don’t mean to be requesting when you are doing something other than paperdolls for now, but could you do a February dress? I looked through the archives, but I didn’t see one, and I would love to have one!

  8. That elven dress turned out really well, even if the colors didn’t scan, Mollie. I hope your having a good time off, Liana! :)

  9. Hi Liana, WOW! I just found your site and I LOVE it. My dd had a sleepover this weekend and we printed 12 outfits and dolls to keep the girls busy. Your work is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it! I will be telling my friends about your blog.

  10. Wow your site is amazing! I love how you detailed the dress with turtle doves. Lovely! For your next dress, i think it would be nice to do something based on Haiti. Just a suggestion, though! Keep up the amazing work!
